Dr. Shreya Upadhaya

Non-Resident Fellow

Dr. Shreya Upadhyay is Non-Resident Fellow at the Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies. She has an extensive research experience and works as an Assistant Professor at Christ University, Bengaluru. Her research interests include disaster managment and public policy in the Indo-Pacific, climate change, role of the US in Indo-Pacific, India-US relations, and security issues in the region. She was Assistant Professor at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and had also served as a visiting faculty at Symbiosis School of International Studies, Symbiosis University and Flame University, Pune. She has worked at several think tanks including the Takshashila Institution, the National Institute of Advanced Studies and Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies. Dr. Upadhyay was a Fulbright-Nehru scholar at American University, Washington D.C.  She has published papers in several SCOPUS, peer-reviewed journals and contributed to edited books. She continues to write regular commentaries for several newspapers and websites.
